Welcome back to the garden!
It’s early September and the veggie beds are winding down for the season. In this video, I’m clearing out my bean and cucumber beds, harvesting what’s left—including a surprise crop of Coco de Paimpol beans despite spider mite damage—and prepping the space for autumn sowing.
I’ll show you how I save seeds from French beans, harvest bonus cucumbers, and sow winter radish, mizuna, and lettuce in freshly cleared beds.
It’s a slow-living, seasonal reset with plenty more to come—zucchini harvests, greenhouse grapes, peppers, and tomatoes are just around the corner.
Thanks for watching, and see you back in the garden soon!
