Journey to a Shire Like Place

While on a trip to England I visited many places but none reminded of Tolkien's Shire quite like that of my Ancestors home of Holbeton. Deep in the Devon countryside is a tiny village of Thatched roofs (Bree), deep lanes and high hedges.
