Blackrock Silver Targets 2.3 Year Payback at $1900 Gold and $23 Silver Prices

Blackrock Silver has officially crossed the 100-million-ounce silver equivalent milestone at its Tonopah West project in Nevada, delivering a major resource upgrade that includes its first indicated ounces and strong economics in a rising precious metals market.

Speaking with Kitco Mining at the 2025 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek, CEO Andrew Pollard said the updated PEA, based on $1,900 gold and $23 silver, delivers a 2.3-year payback and de-risks the project significantly. The indicated grade of 493 g/t AgEq and all-in sustaining costs under $12 underscore the project’s strong margin profile.

Pollard made it clear: “Our project works at $15 silver… With silver grades at 215 g/t and gold at 2.05 g/t, both are well above cutoff. You got one heck of a business.”

Growth catalysts are accelerating, with 22 drill holes now in the lab testing a 1.2 km strike extension, and a second resource update in the works aimed at expanding mine life. “Every single ounce we’re adding is going to bolt onto the existing mine plan and be incredibly accretive,” Pollard said.

With robust grades, low costs, and scalability, Blackrock Silver is emerging as a serious Nevada silver-gold contender.
