Division 2 Year 7 Season 2 (“The Pact”) changes how the world talks back. Clear content and you start consequences: Retaliations trigger, timers start, ambush teams chase, and the map finally matters. In this video I break down how that design lands very differently for solo/casual players than for groups.

I ran multiple Heroic Retaliations solo (failed all six), tested several LMG / Backfire setups, and compared that to smooth runs with a 2–3-person squad. The takeaway: the mode’s balance math (timer pressure, multi-lane angles, revive forgiveness) feels group-first, not because it’s impossible solo, but because small mistakes become brittle, run-ending failures.
