Acts 21 - Paul's Journey to Jerusalem

Paul embarks on a dangerous mission to Jerusalem. Despite warnings and prophecies of imprisonment, Paul remains resolute in his faith. Join us as we explore his courageous decision to follow God's will, even in the face of danger, and the events that unfold during his time in Jerusalem. 

Paul's Determination Despite Warnings: Paul’s friends and followers, through the Holy Spirit, warn him of the danger that awaits in Jerusalem. Their pleas for him to stay are motivated by love, but Paul is committed to his mission, knowing that the will of the Lord must prevail. 

Prophet Agabus' Warning: Agabus delivers a powerful prophecy by binding himself with Paul’s belt, symbolizing the impending imprisonment awaiting Paul. Yet, Paul’s unwavering commitment to his mission shines through as he accepts that hardship is part of his path. 

False Accusations and Paul's Arrest: In Jerusalem, rumors spread that Paul is teaching Jews to abandon their customs. To ease tensions, Paul participates in a purification ritual, but a mob soon forms, accusing him of defiling the temple by bringing Gentiles in. This leads to his arrest, just as the prophecies foretold.
