Kash Patel Over 20 Under Investigation in Charlie Kirk Assassination

Kash Patel confirmed that the FBI is investigating more than 20 people linked to a Discord chat where the suspect, Tyler Robinson, allegedly confessed to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Patel stated that family members and acquaintances of the attacker are being interviewed to clarify the motive, and that the investigation is moving forward fully and thoroughly. Among the evidence, DNA was found linking Robinson to the rifle used in the homicide, as well as a note in which he allegedly wrote that he had the opportunity to assassinate Charlie Kirk and that he was going to do it; although the note was destroyed, forensic evidence confirms its existence and content. The FBI explained that there are far more than 20 users involved in the Discord chat and that the information collected, including messages and other digital data, is being validated through legal processes to ensure it can be used in a potential trial. Patel emphasized that the priority is to determine whether there were accomplices—people who encouraged or knew about the attacker’s plans—and stressed that the investigation covers all possible parties involved.
