Israel's "cowardice is unbelievable," says Jon Elmer, contributing editor at The Electronic Intifada who covers Gaza's resistance fighters.

"They don't fight the resistance, they destroy the civilian life as a punitive measure for Palestinians resisting and continuing to exist throughout this genocide."

Elmer explains why Israel's strategy of targeting civilians while minimizing direct combat with Gaza's fighters reflects a directionless and "cowardly" military that has failed to meet its objectives: "You haven't seen more than two dozen fighters in all of Israel's videos… because they're not fighting them. They're destroying homes."
