Rutgers II Improved tomatoes can not be trellised they were developed to maintain an efficient canopy habit of growth that is fragile but very effective in producing a bounty of delicious Tomatoes as all the tomatoes have equal access to the Sun none of the bunching up in a dark center of the foliage often associated with heirloom Roma and other tomato species in humid climates.
