Can You Even Turn Pine Burls?

In this video, I turn an incredible bowl using a mix of black walnut slices, pine burls, and opaque black epoxy resin. The combination of these materials made for a truly unique piece, especially once the bowl was thinned out and the natural character really started to shine through. The smell of the pine burl during the turning process was amazing — definitely one of those unforgettable shop experiences!
