Compact vs Full Size Pistols: Which is Best For You?

Over my years working in a gun shop I hear the same questions ring out all the time. One of the biggest is confusion of the size of different pistols. Alot of people believe that the smaller a pistol is the lighter the recoil. Unfortunately, in most cases the exact opposite is true. I don't know how many times I have seen a husband tell his wife, who never shoots, a Ruger LCP is the perfect gun for her. Although it is the easiest to conceal carry, it is also the hardest to handle under recoil. Alot of the time she would shoot it once and never want to shoot it again.
