Mora Pets produces a range of products for both dogs and cats, some of which, like this excellent self-heating blanket, are good for both.

Two of my dogs are fond of lounging around on top of the stairs, and this medium sized self heating mat will be just the thing for them to keep them comfortable and warm.

Mora Pets makes several types of pet mats, some with self-heating and some without, in a range of different sizes. My one is of the self-heating type and is medium sized at 74x48 cm. In the box, I received the mat itself together with a simple information guide about the mat.

The mat consists of a zipped and washable outer padded layer with a thick faux fur finish on one side and a non-slip surface on the base. Inside is a cushion with a silvered reflective surface designed to reflect body heat back onto the animal lying on the pad. The build quality all seems fine, with a robust metal zipper and good, well stitched seams.

Poppy and Rufus, my two smaller dogs, seem to appreciate the mat very much, and Blenheim, our rather larger whippet, is rather jealous. I will get him a bigger one for himself later.

This is a nicely made and very comfy mat perfect for use in an animal crate of the right size or just as a general purpose mat for use as and when required about the house. I paid £25.74 for mine, and although there are cheaper rivals available and I doubt they have the quality feel of this one, as I am sure Poppy and Rufus would agree.
