The people Jesus calls "workers of lawlessness" in Matt 7:23 are false prophets who never truly knew Him. • In the same letter John says: 1 John 5:3 - "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome." Keeping 613 Torah laws (with stoning penalties) would be massively burdensome; believing in Jesus and loving the brothers is not burdensome.
