Really being a doer of the Word, James 1:21-23

In this passage James is talking to the Church of Jerusalem which had about 50,000 plus members. But he confronts them on being hearers only, blinded by sinful reasoning they deny the power of God to work through them. We are to take control of our life like a poet allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us and within us from the Word of God.
