554 Google has announced that it will be laying off 35 percent of its middle managers to save money, because who needs management anyway?
This will become more common with AI, and companies employees and long term profits will suffer for it. Having more than 12 people report to one person has proved disastrous over and over for companies, and that simply won’t change, people need leadership.
This will create temporary profit bump, then lead to long term losses. Do you agree?
