Ephesians 5:21-33

Paul has reminded us that we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The evidences that we are filled with the Spirit are demonstrated in how we related to the Lord and to one another. In our study today, Paul commands us to be subject to one another as to the Lord. That subjection reaches every area of our lives and every relationship. Wives, husbands, children, parents, slaves (modern employees) and masters (modern employers). As we look at each of these roles and relationships, we are to be aware that we do these things as to the Lord, not necessarily to be pleasing to man.
