Big Block Modifieds at Fairbury

A National career race at Fairbury Speedway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is mostly smooth with a few bumps on the very bottom of the track. The track is a little tight with decent room for maneuverability around traffic. The track does get slick below the cushion after the Heats. I find the bottom fastest most of the night, and by the Feature the top is very close if not faster than the bottom slightly. You need to hit your marks for both the top and bottom, or you will lose quite a bit of momentum.

A mostly good caution free race. Mostly good traffic navigation this race with a couple times getting into the lapped traffic due to either them changing lines last minute, or expecting them to change lines. Got into the wall a few times as well due to over-driving the car a little and forgetting to adjust the car for the slicker conditions. Overall though the race was good with plenty of fast paced action.
