Canada’s Speed Cameras Aren’t About Safety — They’re About $$$

They tell us speed cameras are about “safety.” But if that were true, why hide them after speed-limit drops or run them at midnight in empty school zones? The truth: it’s a cash grab. Drivers get fleeced while dangerous intersections go unfixed, e-scooters and e-bikes roam free, and distracted pedestrians get a pass. Doug Ford is right — it’s time to end this scam and focus on real road safety.
