Donald Trump Is LYING About Not Knowing About Qatar Strike - Say U.S. President Netanyahu

Israeli and U.S. officials offered conflicting accounts Tuesday over whether Donald Trump was informed in time to stop Israel's strike on Hamas operatives in Qatar.

Three Israeli officials told Axios that Trump had advance notice of the operation and could have intervened. But Trump had previously issued a statement suggesting otherwise. Two of the officials said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly briefed Trump on the plan and would have canceled the strike if the president had asked.

"Trump knew about the strike before the missiles were launched. First there was a discussion on the political level between Netanyahu and Trump, and afterwards through military channels. Trump didn't say no," one Israeli official told Axios.

Trump's account did not directly contradict that version of events, but if the officials are correct, it would suggest he withheld key details about the timeline. His statement, first read at a White House press briefing and later posted on Truth Social, said the administration learned of the strike from the U.S. military Tuesday morning.

"This was a decision made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, it was not a decision by me… I immediately directed Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did, however, unfortunately, too late to stop the attack," Trump wrote at the time.
