The glitz, glamour, and unbridled decadence of the 80s are back in Yakuza 0.

Fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and series regular Goro Majima. Play as Kazuma Kiryu and discover how he finds himself in a world of trouble when a simple debt collection goes wrong and his mark winds up murdered. Then, step into the silver-toed shoes of Goro Majima and explore his “normal” life as the proprietor of a cabaret club.

Switch between three different fighting styles instantaneously and beat up all manner of goons, thugs, hoodlums, and lowlifes. Take combat up a notch by using environmental objects such as bicycles, sign posts, and car doors for bone-crunching combos and savage take-downs.
Fighting is not the only way to kill time in 1988’s Japan: from discos and hostess clubs to classic SEGA arcades, there are tons of distractions to pursue in the richly detailed, neon-lit world.

Chapter 11 - A Murky Riverbed:

Majima awakens as Sagawa’s captive, tortured overnight for betraying him, but released once Sagawa admits he has no leads on Makoto’s whereabouts. Believing Nishitani may be connected, Majima seeks him out through the corrupt cop Detective Billiken, who runs the Bed of Styx fighting arena. Players battle through three underground matches before Billiken escorts Majima into Nishitani’s prison stronghold, where the patriarch controls the entire jail. After another brutal duel, Nishitani admits he isn’t working with the man in the white suit, revealing him as Masaru Sera of the Nikkyo Consortium, and that Shibusawa ordered Makoto’s kidnapping. Their uneasy truce ends violently when a guard executes Billiken and fatally wounds Nishitani under Shibusawa’s orders. In a final act of defiance, Nishitani kills the traitor before succumbing to his injuries, leaving Majima shaken and alone.

Chapter 12 - Den of Desires:

Determined to find Sera before Sagawa kills Makoto, Majima searches Sotenbori, only to be forced by Sagawa to bring him along. Their pursuit leads to the Camellia Grove, an opulent brothel doubling as the Nikkyo Consortium’s Osaka base, where players fight through waves of guards in close-quarters brawls. Majima confronts Sera atop the roof garden, proving his resolve in a fierce duel that convinces the patriarch of his genuine desire to protect Makoto. Sera reveals Makoto owns the Empty Lot and that he has already entrusted her to a Tachibana Real Estate employee for safekeeping in Tokyo. Before he can share more, Sagawa treacherously shoots him from behind, leaving him critically wounded. Handing Majima the card Sera intended to give him, Sagawa reveals the shocking name of the man now protecting Makoto in Tokyo: Kazuma Kiryu.

Chapter 13 - Crime & Punishment:

Earlier events reveal how Kiryu and Oda escorted Makoto back to Tokyo under Sera’s direction, who disclosed his ties to Shintaro Kazama and his own goal of stopping Dojima. On the road, Shibusawa’s men launch a violent ambush, sending players into vehicular combat and a desperate escape into a construction site. There, Makoto recognizes Oda’s voice and exposes him as the man who sold her to the Triads years before, shattering the fragile alliance. Oda admits the betrayal, explaining his deal with Shibusawa: hand over Makoto and Kiryu in exchange for sparing his and Tachibana’s lives. A tense standoff erupts until Makoto wounds Oda with her hidden blade, allowing Kiryu to disarm him before Shibusawa’s goons descend. Fighting through another wave of enemies, Kiryu escapes with Makoto, while Oda is left behind to be beaten and executed by Shibusawa himself.

Substories:

The Entertainer's Throne – Majima meets a "human statue" on the Iwao Bridge. After speaking to him, you'll later find a crowd watching him, but he needs to use the restroom. You'll need to distract the crowd with riddles, singing, dancing. Soon you fight a tough guy, who doesn't like your singing but is a great distraction. Successfully getting him to the restroom will net you a Staminan Royale.
