What Charlie Kirk's Death Means for Us

On September 10th, 2025, Charlie Kirk was assassinated on a college campus in Utah. Kirk made a name for himself by going to universities around the United States and debating with young people about ideas and philosophies. He was a patriotic conservative with deep-rooted Christian values; he was not elected to public office and was not a public servant. Many on the democratic left labeled him a hateful man, while those on the right said that he was an up-and-coming visionary with the potential to one day run for president. The reality for all of us is that he was a man with a microphone and a camera that discussed ideas. And he was murdered with a bullet to his neck, allegedly, in front of his wife and children.

Well, I am a Fake Wizard that also shares ideas. I have no real power or political power. Hell, I’m lucky if my videos reach 50,000 views. And as I’ve always said, I hate talking about politics. I believe that left and right-isms of the modern day are divisive and meant to divide us from being able to have open dialogue. Even now, there will be viewers who’ve clicked off this video just because I’ve mentioned Charlie Kirk but have not endorsed whether I agree with him or not. We, as a people, have been manipulated into believing that this world is a binary of yeses and noes; rights and wrongs; and goods and evils. That is not the case.
