Sabbath 29/06/48/120
Dear Friends
Today is the Fifth Sabbath of the Sixth Month 48th year of the 120th Jubilee. Today we will study the paperCities of Israel (No. 141D_5). On Monday we will have the New Moon and the Message for the New Moon will deal with the Issue of theDay of Trumpets (No. 136). We now begin the lead up to the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. This is the last year of what we see as normal activities and the Churches of God are nowhere near prepared for the terrible Tribulation ahead of us. Use the rest of this year to prepare for the troubles ahead of us. Things will not go on as usual for much longer. France has placed its medical centres and hospitals on notice to expect World war in less than five months. Poland has just shot down Russian drones entering its airspace. NATO is preparing to enter the Ukraine. We are on a war footing. Medvedev of Russia warned the West last year that they were forcing the War of Rev. 9:18 on them and a third of the world will die and they simply did not take him seriously.
One of the very serious characteristics we have noticed about the offshoots in the Churches of God is that they seem to be in a state of denial as to the seriousness of the situation we now face. For example the UCG are encouraging the people in AU and elsewhere to go to the Feast in Italy this year as though there is not a real prospect of world war breaking out over the feast season and families are placing their entire structure at risk by going there when there is no obvious reason to do so. In fact the seriousness of the situation is such that entire families are being placed at risk and may well die as a result of this cavalier disregard for the warnings now being issued.
What is more serious is that the offshoots are preaching smooth things to their members (who are really not members but paying clients). Their priests are like dumb dogs who are unable to bark and the caravan trundles on to disaster. Last New Moon we issued paper300Bdealing with the Establishment of the Millennium and on the following Sabbath we issued theAttack of the King of the South (No. 141D_6). It is obvious that the correct situation is such that that attack could be initiated at any time over the next few months. The focal point will be all over Europe and the seriousness may well see Turkey invade Greece and North Africa attack Italy and Spain. It is almost as though the people think that by placing themselves in danger they will see God intervene to ensure that no harm can come to them, when the reverse is the logical alternative.
Over the next few Messages, up to and including Tabernacles, we will explain what is ahead of us to the Jubilee and it is not a pretty picture for those who appear to be in denial. The world might not like it but someone has got to tell them the truth and that was why God formed us in the first place over 31 years ago. We provided the Thirty years Warning (No. 044), and now, we will take the world through it all, step by step, until the Witnesses arrive. There is no possible chance that they will preach smooth things to the world. In fact God says that, when they are killed, the world throws a great party in celebration of their death (Rev. 11:9-11). The world must be brought to repentance in order for them to stay alive and they are simply refusing to repent and the key offenders are the very Churches of God in Sardis and Laodicea who might have been expected to set an example.
