Brazil is the home of the Pantanal, the world's largest and most significant floodplain. Animals here roam throughout a vast grassland during the dry season. But, during the rainy season, the water rises and reduces the amount of dry area drastically. Caiman, members of the crocodile family dominate the swamps and bask in the sunshine. Piranha, anacondas, capybara, and birds wade in the shallows and try to find food where they can.
This zebu cow grazes among dozens of caiman as if there is nothing to fear. The caiman, even with enormous mouths full of teeth, seem to be more worried about being stepped on by the cow.
