In the Slobodskoy direction, assault units of the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the Tatar forest to Sinyelnikovo and took over the main part of the industrial zone of the oil extraction plant in Volchansk. Additionally, the offensive operations have recommenced in the vicinity of Melovoy, with Russian military forces undertaking offensive actions toward Otradnoye and Bologovka.

The KC-135 tanker of the US Air Force made an emergency landing in Niš, a city located in proximity to military bases operated by the Serbian army. This development has the effect of strengthening NATO's logistics in the Balkans, thereby expanding the scope of operations in the region.
