When I booted up Helldivers 2 for this first run, the vibe hit me hard. It isn’t just a co-op bug hunt—it’s Starship Troopers come alive.

As a kid, those over-the-top propaganda reels made me grin. Years later, standing under a night sky in Afghanistan, I found myself quoting them—
“Come on you apes! You wanna live forever?”
And even, in true dark-humor fashion,
“We’re gonna need a bigger boat.”
