She forgot to mention that the shared car app will only function with a valid digital ID, and travel will be restricted—or denied completely—if you've already exceeded your monthly carbon allowance, or if your social credit score is too low.

And once all the shared cars are self-driving, don't even think about leaving your designated 15-minute district, or attempting to travel to a protest. The car won't take you to "restricted" locations.
