A crucial key to fat loss is managing your expectations. If you expect to lose "x" pounds per week and do that for even a month consistently, you're going to have a very hard time. There will be plateaus in weight loss always, that part will be consistent- funny enough. The issue is when that plateau affects your motivation because it's not what you expected. Instead, focus on doing what is better for your health no matter your weight (cause small acute weight fluctuations mostly consist of water, glycogen, and even poop). Trust the process of doing the right thing, and the fat loss will be a happy side effect.
