(RAD: The US economy is in free fall. The world is moving away from the $dollar in international trade, especially the BRICS & SCO nations, since the US has weaponized the $dollar via the SWIFT system. For many decades after WW2 the US had a strong manufacturing base with skilled workers and adequate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) graduates to innovate. Unfortunately, the US failed to continue supporting key manufacturing sectors and they moved elsewhere, which also means that we are no longer the great innovator of the past. China is now leading the world in STEM graduates and manufacturing and innovation. Russia & India are also very capable.

Since the US & Europe were involved in blowing up the Nord Stream Pipeline that was supposed to supply reasonably priced gas to Europe, many manufacturing plants are closing because they can't afford the more expensive LNG. Russia, Mongolia, and China have now signed a binding agreement for building the 'Power of Siberia 2' pipeline that will supply the gas to China's manufacturing that Europe could have had. This is another serious blow to the European economy that they brought on themselves.

The large & vibrant economies of China, India, and Russia don't really depend upon exports to the US anymore. This also means that the US has very little leverage over those economies with tariffs & sanctions. Trump's tariffs are angering other countries and they don't see the US as a reliable partner for moving some of their manufacturing to the US to avoid tariffs. Douglas Macgregor does point out how the US could reestablish some manufacturing, yet there are no signs that this is happening.

Europe is already irrelevant when it comes to resolving the Ukraine situation. They aren't even interested in peace. The US is also becoming increasingly irrelevant. This entire conflict will likely end on Russia's terms that have been consistent since the start. — RAD)
