They told you time heals all wounds (But God is the One who restores your heart)
Many of us carry pain from the past—wounds, betrayals, and brokenness that time alone could never heal. The world says, “Just move on,” but God’s Word says something greater: He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
This prayer invites you into God’s presence for deep emotional and spiritual healing from past trauma. Whether you’ve struggled with rejection, betrayal, loss, or self-condemnation, the Lord wants to restore your heart, rewrite your story, and bring beauty from ashes.
In this prayer, we:
• Bring hidden wounds before God and invite His healing touch.
• Ask for freedom from bitterness and release forgiveness through His strength.
• Pray for restoration where trauma has stolen joy, peace, and trust.
• Declare God’s promises of renewal, freedom, and hope over our lives.
• Surrender our pain to Jesus, believing He makes all things new.
God’s healing is not about forgetting the pain—it’s about allowing Him to transform it into a testimony of His grace and power. Just as He restored Joseph after betrayal, Job after loss, and Peter after failure, He will restore you.
Stay with this prayer until the end, where we reflect on God’s promises and extend an invitation for anyone ready to begin their journey of faith in Christ.
If you are carrying past trauma, know this: You are not alone, you are not forgotten, and your healing begins with Him.
