A Christian can't be an environmentalist

How can a Christian be an environmentalist?
God told Christians to have dominion over the Earth and its animals live be prosper and multiply

Environmentalism believes the world's overpopulated, and also believes in Gaia believes in worshiping the Earth as an entity. One is a pagan religion. The other is Christian you cannot be both.
