At least 75 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons since the war in Gaza began, according to the UN Human Rights Office.
In a report, the agency says a culture of impunity has allowed systematic torture and ill-treatment to run rampant.
The UN says many of those who died had been denied medical attention and endured heavy torture.
The agency has documented Israel subjecting Palestinian prisoners to rape, beatings and waterboarding.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society also report an increase in torture, with Israeli forces using electric-shock devices, and plastic bullets on detainees.
And outbreaks of scabies are widespread in both the Negev and Ofer prisons, with authorities denying treatment.

Ajith Sunghay, the head of the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) in the occupied Palestinian territory, says conditions for Palestinians held in Israeli jails are “terrible, to say the least”.
