Borderlands 4 continues to stir up controversy because Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford cannot put his phone down. The performance issues and functionality is plaguing the release of the game and Pitchford is blaming everyone but himself. His latest attack is to simply tell aggrieved fans to get a refund if they are unsatisfied.

While the player count is very much there, time will tell if this looter shooter falls off for good if they cannot fix the problem: Both in the game and in the offices.
