FDA Will Require Full Transparency in Drug Ads, Announces RFK Jr.

Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., announced this Friday a measure that will mark a turning point in how pharmaceutical companies advertise their products in the United States. From now on, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will require that all prescription drug ads broadcast on television and radio include full safety information, warnings, and side effects directly on screen.
