*Cottonwood Canyon Oregon State Park* is the second largest State Park in Oregon and is a River High Desert Canyon Wonderland Zone and a genuine Hunting & Fishing Paradise! Created in 2013, it was also certified as an IDA Dark Sky Park in 2024.

It has numerous Camping Options @ Lone Tree Campground from classic Primitive Campsites to Hiker/Biker Campsites to Group Campsites to 4 Reservable Cabins that are Open Year Round - the Park is situated at about 600 FT Elevation, making it an incredible Winter Destination!

There are 3 Main Hiking Trails:
- Pinnacles Trail - 9.6 Miles (+ Lower & Upper Walnut Side Trails)
- Lost Corral Trail - 8.6 Miles
- Hard Stone Trail - 3.2 Miles

This Video was made on August 8, 2025. Back in June of 2025, The Ferry Fire Burned 10,000+ Acres. DO NOT let this deter/discourage you! As far as the impact to the Trail System, other than some charring near and around Pinnacles Trailhead, the Area is completely unscathed and is still a Pristine & Serene Paradise!
