Tom Glass lays out originalist opposition to Texans for Lawsuit Reform-pushed bill HB 3964 to gut public common law nuisance lawsuits on April 23, 2025 in the Texas House Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committee. I said the framers would be shocked to think that the only protection afforded to Texans from private damage would be unelected bureaucrats in the administrative state.

Tom Glass also pointed out how this very cause of action will likely be needed in his home county of Lee to stop industrial composting in his pristine rural county.
