When God Says Stop

Looking back on this conversation with my friend Charlie Kirk, I’m struck again by his clarity. He reminded us that when God says “stop,” it isn’t to take something good away—it’s to save us from what could destroy us. Just like a father’s warning shout that keeps a child from walking off the edge, Charlie saw God’s commands as love in action. His voice may be gone, but his wisdom still points us back to life.
