Will The Villages Inventory Explode Higher?

Will The Villages inventory explode upward as we approach snowbird season? We are already at January 2025 levels BEFORE it ramped up in February, March and April. The Villages typically see's a January thru June ramp of homes for sale and I don't see any reason why this won't be the case this year. Many owners in The Villages are playing the wait and see game as they take their homes off the market in the homes to sell them this 2026 snowbird season. The Villages inventory is still over 800 homes on their VLS and using them to sell your home is becoming more of a crutch than a help to sellers. Listing your home on The MLS opens your house up to all Realtors in the State of Florida and the world, while The Villages VLS is a closed system. If you plan on buying a home in The Villages, you should see more homes on the market all the way through to next June 2026.
