Narrative of how I'd understand the character's archetype:

Copley Station would have the group emerge a few blocks away from Fenway Park, so the feeling of linear progression was certainly something to appreciate. Seeing so much gore and bodily fluids left her feeling the growing need to willfully numb herself to such commonplace sights, since the world she'd seen above-ground was admittedly none the cleaner; only dustier.

traversing the direct entrance to the Boston Public Library likely would have lead the group into another needless gunfight, so she'd resign herself and navigate between the de-railed train-cars into a wrecked alcove to sleep. The corpse of one of the nightmare-hounds would provide her with enough sustenance to make the trip to the next train station.

Whether she'd return to the surface by the end of the week would remain entirely up to how much of the underground network of tunnels had been kept clear enough to navigate on foot.
