Family Guy featured a recurring joke about the medication Skyrizi in its Season 23, Episode 11, titled "The Elle Word," which aired in April 2025.
This episode included a running gag where multiple characters, including Quagmire and a man in a Braveheart cutaway, mention being on Skyrizi, parodying the drug's commercials and highlighting a humorous side effect of having nicer-looking elbows.
The gag was played straight initially but was later subverted when Peter Griffin becomes frustrated with the constant product references and demands that people stop mentioning the fictional sponsor.
