Are We About To See The Great And Terrible Day of The Lord?

Some people are prophesying that the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord is going to happen very soon, maybe even during Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets). Is this going to happen? Others are prophesying the Rapture during this Feast. It's all very confusing and even frightening to some people. I'd like to bring a bit of perspective to all of this.
