Devils "confessing Jesus" yet believing there is "one God"!

How could the devils, not demons, believe that there is one God, call Jesus “the Holy One of God” and “the Son of God”, and yet be damned?!
“Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:3)
“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” (2 Peter 2:4)
