Bowery at Midnight, 1942

Karl Wagner, a criminology professor and operator of a kindly soup kitchen, serves as a front for a criminal group that carries out a string of audacious robberies and killings. When things get out of control, Wagner murders his goons, who then turn into zombies in the soup kitchen's cellar.
