1. John A. Widtsoe, Priesthood and Church Government, p.214:  Should the occasion ever arise that one of the First Presidency must be tried for crime or neglect of duty, his case would come before the Presiding Bishop with his counselors, and twelve High Priests especially chosen for the purpose. This would be a tribunal extraordinary-from which there is no appeal.

3. Church machinery exists to gets message out, not scramble to staff positions.

1. Using church machinery to prepare earth?
2. how are EQ working? overloaded, turnover? using councils to seek revelation how solve these problems?
iii. Warren and Lyman, a case of contrasts: Dissatisfied and long lived, an unordained apostle and dies short? Isaiah 28:1, "Strange act." Rather counter-intuitive, but don't trust in arm of flesh, but Christ--and Christ, that's the point.
