A cyberattack targeting check-in and boarding systems has disrupted air traffic and caused delays at some of Europe’s top airports, officials said Saturday.

Brussels Airport said the attack meant only manual check-in and boarding were possible there, according to the Associated Press, and the incident had a “significant impact” on flight schedules.

Berlin’s Brandenburg Airport said its passenger services provider was attacked Friday night, prompting airport operators to cut off connections to the systems.

London’s Heathrow Airport, Europe’s busiest, said a “technical issue” had affected its check-in and boarding services provider.

Airports advised travelers to check their flight status and apologized for any inconvenience.
