Rep. AOC just slammed the resolution honoring Charlie Kirk
AOC Attacks Charlie Kirk's Memory, Exposing Her Anti-Life and Anti-Family Radicalism
Washington, D.C. – In an act that has outraged millions of conservatives across the country, Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has unleashed a vitriolic assault on a resolution introduced by the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, aimed at honoring the life and legacy of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, brutally assassinated on September 10, 2025, during an event at Utah Valley University. Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA and a fervent defender of traditional American values, Christian faith, and the fight against cultural Marxism, was cowardly silenced by a radical left-wing assassin, Tyler Robinson, who, according to prosecutors, meticulously planned the attack as an "opportunity" to take out a patriot. This resolution, a gesture of national unity amid the rising tide of political violence plaguing our nation, sought not only to condemn the horror of his murder – a heinous crime that has shocked the world and been dubbed an "American tragedy" by Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Gray – but also to celebrate Kirk's enduring impact in defending freedom, family, and American sovereignty.
Yet, instead of joining the collective mourning and recognizing the worth of a man who devoted his life to exposing the threats of globalism and rampant socialism, AOC has chosen a partisan tirade that completely dehumanizes the victim. In her floor speech, the New York representative not only downplayed the brutality of the assassination – a vile act that included point-blank shots while Kirk defended constitutional principles before young students – but used it as a platform to revive divisive narratives about segregation and "Jim Crow laws," as if Kirk's legacy had anything to do with historical intolerance. "We can disagree deeply and still come together as a country to denounce the horror of this murder," AOC hypocritically quoted, while proceeding to paint Kirk as a racist and antisemitic extremist, citing alleged past statements on the Civil Rights Act and controversial comments after the Paul Pelosi attack. This tactic is nothing more than a crude attempt to whitewash the left's responsibility in fostering a climate of hate that culminated in the death of a conservative hero. Where was AOC when her Democratic allies demonized patriots like Kirk, labeling them "fascists" and "threats to democracy"? Her rejection of a bipartisan resolution, similar to the one passed after the murder of Democratic legislator Melissa Hortman in June 2025, only underscores progressive hypocrisy: they condemn violence when it suits them, but weaponize it when it serves their power agenda.
What makes AOC's attack even more repugnant is how it reveals her deeply disturbing ideological profile, a radicalism that not only dehumanizes figures like Charlie Kirk – reducing him to a caricatured villain instead of a devoted father, loving husband, and inspiring leader who, according to his widow Erika Kirk, preached "patriotism, faith, and God's merciful love" – but extends that dehumanization to society's most vulnerable and innocent: unborn babies. AOC, self-proclaimed "Squad" member of the far left, has been a fervent promoter of unlimited abortion, defending laws that allow the extermination of lives in the womb up to the moment of birth in states like New York. In 2019, she celebrated the passage of her home state's radical abortion law, describing it as an "advance" for reproductive rights, ignoring the horror of procedures that literally dismember viable children. This stance is not just political; it's a philosophy of systematic dehumanization, where the most innocent – the beating fetus in its mother's womb – is reduced to disposable "tissue," without rights or dignity. How can a woman who claims to seek "unity" justify the annual slaughter of millions of unborn, while weeping for "free speech" in the name of political assassins? It's the height of moral incoherence, a sinister echo of the same contempt for human life that led to Kirk's murder.
But AOC's critical profile doesn't stop there; her agenda goes further, extending this moral corrosion to the systematic corruption of minors through transgender gender ideology. As one of the main drivers of woke policies in Congress, AOC has unconditionally backed initiatives that inject sexual confusion into classrooms and pediatric care, promoting irreversible surgeries, hormone blockers, and "transitions" in children who have barely left puberty. In 2023, she applauded the Biden administration's decision to force public schools to adopt "inclusive" bathrooms and locker rooms based on self-declared gender identity, exposing vulnerable girls to predators and undermining the natural protection of the traditional family. This is not compassion; it's a cultural war against childhood innocence, dehumanizing the youngest by treating their developing bodies as canvases for ideological experiments. Charlie Kirk, in life, bravely denounced this "corruption of minors" as an assault on Christianity and America's founding values, warning that cultural Marxism sought to destroy the nuclear family to impose a totalitarian state. By attacking his memory, AOC not only insults a conservative martyr but implicitly defends a regime that views children – whether in the womb or in school – as mere pawns in her dystopian utopia.
Kirk's assassination is no isolated incident; it's the poisoned fruit of a left that has normalized verbal and physical violence against conservative dissenters. From the 2024 assassination attempts on President Trump to the Minnesota legislator shootings, the pattern is clear: Democrats sow hate and then feign surprise when it sprouts in blood. The Republican resolution, backed by figures like Governor Ron DeSantis and Vice President JD Vance, aims precisely to counter this, promoting unity around eternal principles like the right to life, free speech, and faith defense. Instead, AOC and her allies choose division, fearful that honoring Kirk would expose their own vulnerabilities: a history of incendiary rhetoric, alliances with extremists, and an agenda that prioritizes abortion and child mutilation over national moral health. As Cardinal Timothy Dolan noted on September 19, comparing Kirk to Saint Paul, his death is a divine call to resist progressive darkness.
In this moment of national grief, Republicans must redouble efforts to protect Kirk's memory, pushing laws against political violence and defending life from conception to the grave. Kirk's widow, in an emotional address, vowed: "I will never let your legacy die," reminding us that the battle for America continues. May Charlie's sacrifice inspire a new generation to reject AOC's poison and restore our republic's greatness.
