Big Block Modifieds at Old Mill

A National career race at Old Mill Raceway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is a little bumpy, typical of a dirt track. There is a decent amount of room for maneuverability around traffic on this small tri-oval. The track does get slick in the middle after Qualifying and progressively gets quite a bit worse. Expect to drop at least half a second off lap times by the feature. I find the bottom fastest all night long. There isn't much for traction on the high side of the corners all night long.

A decent race with 1 caution. The caution came when Max McLaughlin slid up and got into Justin Stone, with Stone spinning out and sliding down the track. I expected Stone to remain on the topside, but ended up getting Stone with my right rear. Generally traffic navigation was good, but I did make contact with a couple cars. I also got into the outside wall a couple times. Overall the race itself was decent, considering the lack of traction in the middle of the corners.
