🇷🇺 Anomalous Snowfall in the Caucasus ❄️

❄️🐏 On September 20, a heavy snowfall struck the mountainous regions of the Caucasus, leaving dozens of sheep and their shepherds stranded in the high-altitude summer pastures. People and animals are forced to wait for the weather to improve in order to return to safer areas.

⚠️🌎 This phenomenon is considered anomalous: such intense snowfalls in mid-September are extremely rare for the Caucasus. The sudden drop in temperatures and heavy precipitation, during a period when the grazing season usually continues, are a worrying sign of intensifying climate fluctuations.
