This is the beginning of the parable of the unjust steward. It is interesting because there are those that believe the unjust steward is actually a good guy in this parable, but he is not. He was not a good steward of the rich man’s money and he is definitely not a good example for us to follow. He is an example of worldly thinking, whereas Jesus Christ is chastising and exhorting His disciples to follow Him.
