📞Tenant facing eviction… but he wants to stay 🏠. Can we make a plan that works Or is it time to go 🤔

Today I got on the phone with a tenant facing eviction. Instead of immediately moving forward with the lockout, we talked about a plan to help him and his family stay in the home.

This is always the hard part of property management:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 On one side, there’s a family who needs housing stability. No one wants to see children or parents forced out of their home.

💰 On the other side, the landlord still has a mortgage to pay. He cannot and will not allow someone to live in his rental property for free.

💡 Here’s the balance we work with:

If the tenant can pay and stick to a plan, they can stay.

If they can’t, then the eviction process will continue and they will need to find another place to live.

At the end of the day, No Pay = No Stay.

👉 Property management isn’t about being cold or heartless — it’s about being firm but fair. Helping where possible, but also protecting the homeowner’s investment and following the lease agreement.

This call shows the reality of the business: tough conversations, hard decisions, and doing the best we can for both sides.

Let’s Get to Work! Let’s Go! 💪
