How Churches Facilitate the Falling Away

The conflation of church entities that regard themselves as the true church of Jesus Christ, or consider themselves to be adhering to the purest interpretation of the doctrine of Christ—measuring themselves against the spiritual essence that is the body of Christ—collectively represents an enduring state of departure from the true faith that is in Christ.

With divisive elements separating the church into denominational and institutional associations, much of what concerns the doctrinal revelation of Christ is lost on deviant practices that supplant His own influence and authority. This, nonetheless, biblically serves to distinguish those who lean on their own acts of religious performance for approval in contrast to those who abide wholly in Christ as their token of God's divine approval.
