Now, the verses we are studying today are a peek into the prosperity Israel had at the time of Solomon. It just sums up just how good they had it. It is really to express Just how prosperous Solomon made the country, but in his success there are seeds of failure.

Israel is at the center of the world. Jerusalem is at the center of the land of Israel. The temple is at the center of Jerusalem. What they're saying is the very center of the entire Earth is the Temple. However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands. All of Heaven cannot contain Him.

That is the purpose of church. When we gather, we have a special sense of the presence of God. When we gather with other believers, we worship Jesus Christ and study His Word. In reality, if you know Jesus Christ, you are the house of God.
